Miles constantly expands boundaries and it has been said that his art is boldly stated resulting in a unique look and feel, lucid enough to give shape and form yet sufficiently elusive to encourage a more profound look.
About the Artist...
Miles worked for many years as a commercial photographer for magazine publications and record companies. For the past 13 years, he has applied his photographic abilities to painting on canvas but continues with mixed-media photographic imagery. Miles describes his work as Abstract Expressionism and surrealism, with a touch of Abstracted land & cityscapes. He uses Acrylic and oil paints on a variety of substrates.
